Hi There.

I have a 7200.7 (Seagate ST3200822A) drive that recently died. When I try to RMA it, Seagate's web site is saying that it is out of warranty. I don't quite remember when I purchased this drive, so I'm trying to figure out the date code:

Date Code: 04375

Does anyone remember Seagate's warranty period before they went to the 5 year? Even if it was 3 year I think I should still be in the repair period (assuming that 04 stands for 2004)?

Thanks for your help!

If it was purchased in retail packaging, it's usually 1 year warranty. Sorry. 04375 I would assume means 2004, week 37, day 5. Could be wrong.
