Hey everyone,

I am asking you all for some help because I am at my wit's end. Three times now I have had the same problem with my PC. All three times, my computer will operate normally for the first 24-48 hours and then will die.

The fans will spin and lights come on, but there are no POST beeps from my speaker. The system never boots.

Here is a list of what I have replaced already. This spans all three failures.

1) My first try was the CPU and motherboard. Still didn't work. 2) RMA'ed my Seasonic X650. Came back repaired, system worked.

Fast forward a year. The same problem comes again. Lights, fans, no POST beeps, no video, etc.

1) Thinking that the cheap replacement motherboard I bought the first time had died, I again replaced the CPU and Motherboard (I was looking to upgrade anyway).

This operated great for about 48 hours. Now I am sitting here with a broken desktop once again.

So I am out of ideas. My ASUS Sabertooth 880FX Motherboard has an indicator light showing that my RAM is suspect, but I have tried 4 sticks in different slots on my motherboard and none of them produced anything.

Should I just try to RMA everything? Most of my stuff is still under warranty.

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate it.

I should mention that I have a backup PSU in the form of an Antec Earthwatts 430w. I experience the same problem when I connect the system with that as well.

I took the motherboard out and did a bench test: It POSTed, so I decided to add the videocard. Back to the same problem. This is with the Seasonic.

What videocard are you using??, You mention that you have tried replacing different parts to narrow down the issue, but i notice that you haven't tried a different videocard.. Also, from what you said about adding the videocard and then you have the problem again shows that it is apparently a videocard issue. try a different videocard and see if you still have problems.

I gave that a go.

My older motherboards have onboard video, and they had the same problem. :/

I have everything boxed up and ready to go to a technician to be tested. I will let you know what happens!
