I'm looking for cheap (<200) surround sound, 5.1 system. Theres a phillips one but someone said it sucks if you are trying to reach all corners of your room.

I am putting it in just a normal bedroom, ad would like to mount the speakers in the 4 corners of my room. Any Ideas on what system to go with? I think the biggest issue is that the length of the cords will not reach.. I'm stumped.

Home theater surround sound with a receiver? Or just a computer audio 5.1 system with mini jacks?

Are you looking to just have sound from all for corners, or are you looking for a "theater" experience?

What's the layout of your room?

For $200, my suggestion is to either save up a bit more or just stick with stereo.
