Help deciding, Creative speakers or Logitech

Looking for some semi-hi end / midrange speakers here. Klipsch is out of my price range.
Starting off, what is the difference between the creative labs GD580's and the 5500's?
The only real difference I have seen so far is the speaker shape.
Up from those, are the Megaworks 550 worth the difference, and how do all those compare to the Logitech 680's? I have heard some bad things about Logitech on here, but just wanting to get a good idea. New speakers are most likely my next upgrade and just wanted to get an idea of what to be saving up for now.

If you decide to afford Megaworks, then you're set. Otherwise, flip a coin. Wouldn't touch the Logitechs unless you had an Nvidia MCP-T to hook up to it, from either PC or Xbox. Out here.
 
dont get the logitechs. the creatives are good.
