Ok so I was a little rough with my cpu, and i bent one of the prongs. Problem is when I was trying to fix it, it snapped off. Any way of getting it repaired? Or anything to recover some of the costs?

Thanks

unless you can solder really well... you're out of luck.

sometimes lessons can be expensive, but chances are you'll be more careful next time.

Since you probably can't get the pin reattached, try putting the chip in the mb and see if it works. If it does, you're in luck.

Yeah, see if it still work's. I have heard of someone breaking pin's off and it still functioning 100%.
