I am having a problem that I was wondering if anyone could help with, it is with my HP and it is that according to my computer my cpu fan can not be detected all cables are connected and I have not fiddled with my PC does anyone know the problem or how to fix it?

The fan should be connected to the cpu fan header on the motherboard. Assuming it connected to the correct port, possible causes would be a faulty fan or a motherboard fault.
