I plan on buying the P4d 950 to replace my P4 640. I have seen them for $225.00 plus free shipping, question is do you think that they will go down significantly anytime soon?

The D-950 was just recently (July) cut in price by about $90. This was a well known Pentium D price cut that coincided with the release of the Conroe Core 2 Duo chip. I doubt there will be any substantial price cuts for a while but then I can't confirm this. I just recently bought this exact CPU from the egg for $228.99 plus free ship. So $225 is a good price and likely the lowest you're going to find for a while.
 
Hey Mr. SiGfever, you might want to hold off on buying a D-950 from newegg until we find out what's going on. Please see my post in this forum: "What Kind of Intel CPU Did Newegg Sell Me?"

I'd wait to see what others have to say about this before buying one from Newwegg if I were you.
