Hey, my computer just began turning on automatically today. I went to clean up the wire management and tried turning on my computer. It didn't work. I checked the wire connections 4 times and they were perfectly fine. So i tried turning it on again and no luck
I checked the wires one more time, and started disconnecting certain fans and hard drives one by one to check what the problem was but it would still boot automatically. Then i turned my I/O switch on the PSU off. After multiple checks, I flipped the I/O switch on and i started to hear this sorta-loud squealing coming from the PSU and it suddenly turns on after that. The monitor, keyboard, and mouse weren't recognized when the computer was on. I checked the wires and even swapped PSUs with my brother. But still the same results with mine. His worked perfectly. However, there was no bad smell or hot objects in my computer. The sound is only made when the 20+4 motherboard connector is plugged in. Someone have ANY suggestions?
