Hello. I am building a new Sandy Bridge system. I have not narrowed down the exact, specific components, but I know I will be on the P67 chipset, overclocked 2500K, approximately 8 GB of memory. Where I'm struggling is with my SSD purchase. Right now, I'm looking at getting 2 64GB C300s and putting them in Raid 0 on the Intel SATAIII ports. There is a great deal of information on this forum regarding garbage collection, which I have looked at since I know TRIM won't pass to a raid array. This is a work computer, so I can't afford to reinstall frequently if performance degrades. However, from most of what I'm reading, garbage collection on these drives does a good job of keeping performance up, is that correct? Also, this is a computer on a domain, so most of my saved files will be direct to the network and not local. Does this sound like the correct way to go, or should I pursue another avenue? Thanks in advance for your help.
