I just got an xfx 6800gt and I uninstalled my old card, restarted, shut down, plugged my new card into my agp, tried to turn the computer on and my motherboard makes a LOUD continuous beeping sound and my computer won't boot up. What's going on?

is your agp slot the right speed for your card? And are you sure you didn't give it a static shock or anything?

indeedy, molex on the card for external power, and what psu do you have, is it beefy enough to run your system?

Well guys, I'm retarded. I totally had no idea that it needed a power supply. However, there's a couple reasons why I didn't know this:

1. I've never owned a HIGH END video card before, therefore I've never had a video card need a power supply.

2. It said NOTHING about that in the installation directions.

3. This card is awesome

Thanks for your help. It works now.
