I know this has been posted before, but the lack of the search funtion makes it hard to find the old posts.

So here it goes again, any help is greatly appreciated!

I have the ASUS A7N8X Deluxe with the soundstorm, etc..
and
I have the Logitech Z-2200 2.1

lately, i've been noticing i've been getting a buzz whenever i'd turn the speakers up past 1/4. It's especially noticable when I plug in my headphones. What can I do? Is it my drivers?

I had the same problem with my A7N8X-X but found a solution. First go to www.windowsupdate.com, scan for updates and download and install the updated nVidia sound software under "Driver Updates". You may have to reboot. Now open up the Windows volume control panel and click on "Options" then "Properties". Click on the "Other" radio box, choose "Digitized Input" from the drop-down list and click on "OK". A "Digitized Input" volume control should appear. Turn the volume for "Digitized Input" all the way down and unmute it (uncheck the "Mute" checkbox under the "Digitized Input" column). Now you're all done and can close the volume control panel. I'm not sure if this'll work for you, but it has worked for me.
 
Didn't help any...

Maybe this is normal? I know large speakers will buzz when they are turned up, but these buzz when they are only at like %50.
