Hello everyone,

I'm an old reader of this forum, and never had any issue to create any topics, but now I have a serious problem, and I would like to ask for help.

After changing an old IDE noisy HDD to two Barracudas (raid0) I have noticed that my 9800GT causes some kind of strange electrical buzzing noise (not causet by vga fan). In one forum I've read thet this is caused by capacitors, chokes (drossels) or by VRM.

So maby some of you had such problem and solved it some how (not by replacing VGA :D )

I will appreciate any help from members of this forum

since you changed the hard drives before the problem started, i would look at the PSU first, 9 times out of 10 the problem is caused by the psu and not the card. try playing around with the power connection configuration on how they are connected to the psu.

Yeah I would try that first....if your PSU has 2 PCI Express power leads try the other one....then try a 2 molex into 1 PCI Express power adapter to get the power on another rail....
