Hello

I am wondering if any one cud help me im gona buy a new 27" Screen for gaming / picture
editing and of some movies now and then
i used to have the Samsung 27SA950D but after all the times the screen have gone bad i need
a new one i realy like the high Gloss Screen it hadd and want to have that ones more
so any help will be appreciated :)

I am also in need of a 24/27 inch monitor
Need something with:
1. <5ms response time
2. low input lag
3. 1920x1200 & up
4. limited ag coating (ie. s24a650)

I have the s24a650, gw2450, both ghost/lag when gaming vs a tn panel. Had a potalion 27, there was still a slight ghosting issue.
Can't find a tn panel that is 1200p and don't have heavy ag coating.

Is the only choice pls or S24A450UW? I can't find any reviews on that one and it's ghosting.

I would recommend one of the Korean IPS models. I own a Catleap and it is great. Stunning picture, 2560x1440 resolution. Basically they use the same panels as the Apple Cinema displays for 1/3 of the price. For the most part the panels are perfect, with a few reporting dead pixels (the Korean sellers say up to 5 dead pixels is normal). I got unlucky and got 1 dead pixel toward the top of the screen, but on such a large monitor it is barely noticeable. You might not even have that problem though, and some of the sellers sell a service to check your monitor for dead pixels before they ship it.

All around, all of the Korean IPS monitors are great. You can find them on ebay, and I believe Microcenter started selling some of the brands.

A lot of people recommend the Koreans.

I find the panels to be quite different from the Apple ones. Bad color, bad latency, not to mention dead pixels. Backlighting is dreadful, I don't think they ship any cables with it, it doesn't offer a lot of connectivity options, etc. Also, crappy warranty.

So, unless you're on an extremely tight budget, I'd recommend a "regular" 27" 1440p.

Best picks are : HP, Fujitsu, Dell, and Asus.

I own the Fujitsu P27T-6P myself.

I actually had already bought an Auria which is similar to the Korean..and I had to return it as dead pixels began popping up all over. I won't buy a "budget" monitor again. Definitely not a Korean one that I have to have shipped..too risky.

I go the Asus PB278 and I love it so far.
