Im planning on buying a computer and came to relize that i wont be able to afford E6600 or E6700. Would this processor be the best for the speed E6200 1.6GHz 2 MB L2 1066MHz FSB? or can i find something cheaper that has more power?

Also im not sure what power supply i would need to be able to hold a E6600 processor or a strong video card or possibly a SLI setup.

Also are their any motherboards i should wait for. I couldn't find one with SLI .

The E6200 is scheduled for Q4. The lowest clocked Core 2 Duo available at July 23rd will be the E6300 1.86GHz 2 MB L2 1066MHz FSB. It's only ~$110 less than the E6600. A 520W Powerstream should be plenty.

520watt power stream costs more than that fortron i linked to and the fortron is beefier. besides the powerstreams are just rebranded fortrons/fsp's
