Hi,

I'm in the market for a new system. Mainly used for pretty hardcore rendering, will run win x64 with 4-8 gbs of ram. I would like to use a E6600 for now but be able to upgrade to a kentsfield later on.... I'm partial to asus mobo's and antec cases but I'm very flexible and feeling very out of touch after spending the last 1.5 yrs using and buying x2's. I don't have a good idea of what makes a 'good' intel system these days???
