Help ASAP: UV cathode vs. Blue cathode

Hey guys,

I have a case w/ a side window and buying a bunch of parts to make it look pretty. At SVC, where I am buying everything, they have logisys UV 2 cathode kit for like $4 and and the blue one for about $6. Will the UV cathode glow a blue color? I have a few UV reactive parts and am just wondering if the UV will glow blue, or whitish. BTW I have blue and white LEDs in my case fans and from what I hear it kills the UV effect... What do you guys think? Save a couple $$ and get the UV cuz it's still blue (or blue enuff) or spend the extra to get full blown blue? Hurry up w/ responses cuz I'm ordering 2nite.

Just but the blue really wtf 2 bucks wow lots of savings there.

Ps,

The white fans won't light up coz the cathode is so bright it just kills any leds.
 
Thats fine, the white ones are the intake, and one is going is a PS mod I'm doing, so no worries. LOL. Gots to save all the $$ you can when u are 17 lol ;)

I have blue cold cathodes in my current system and they light up the inside of the case BLUE.

I have 2 12" UV cold cathodes in the new one that im building, and they are purplish (just like a black light) and DEFINTELY light up everything on the inside (that is UV reactive) better than just a plain blue one

So you are saying the UV casts more light than the blue? Which are u suggesting for me to get seeing that I have lit fans?

if you are looking for one that CASTS more light... get the blue....if you are looking for something to set off UV reactive components...def. get the UV lights.

I have a blue LED fan in the front of my new rig and the UV light doesnt kill it at all.
 
I think the only thing that is gonna be UV is my power supply mod and a few odds and ends, so I think the Blue is gonna be a better choice! That pic u posted will helped.

My rig has a red on top, blue on bottom... and they blend in the middle. Looks sick, personally ;)
 
My case is green, so red is a no go, I'm just looking to see which of those 2 kits is the better purchase (plus 2 of the same color cuts the price in half :)).
