hey guys, i was playing counter strike, when suddenly the game froze....and my computer started this none stop long beep....but then after 2 sec later everything was fine and i could continue play CS but i was afraid so i restarted the comp....but as soon as it logges into the windows the beep starts for none stop...

i unplugged the speakers, mouse, key board, case speaker, removed one of the memory sticks and vice versa....but no luck...i though it might be CPU overheating, but everything is just fine :(

and i can't find from where the sound is coming from

PLEASE HELP ME

guys all of the sudden the beep just stopped!!!!!!!!

so i dunno what really happened...if the memory went bad...then how did it fix its self?

some people say i got hacked? because as soon as that happened i was playing CS and right then Norton Internet Security asked me this "do you want to allow CS to connect to the internet?" but i CS was already connected to internet...because i was in the middle of scrim online

AMIBIOS does not have none stop beeping code

Those "Some People" who gave you that advice should not pretend to be computer experts. As they give all of us a bad name.

I hate it when "supertechs" say things happened because you got h4x0r3d. They just don't understand what's going on and they use that as a way of trying to hide their lack of knowlege.

quite possible your PC speaker or something shorted, especially if you've checked for overheating problems.

anyways, thanx guys for the help, but that was real wierd...no everything back to normal and working perfectly :)

Looks like your firewall was freezing you because Norton Sux0rz, and it is very very VERY rare for anyones box to get h4x0r3d over the net while playing a game lol. Out of every game I played in life, I hear more brainless punks on hl2/cs:s talking about people being h4x, or getting h4x0r3d lol just funny, really funny.

Try running memtest as well.
