Hello all

I'm a noob at data recovery first off. =(

I'm in a situation at work where i formated fat, then imaged a hard drive without backing up a data folder before imaging. I searched the threads and used tools as getdataback OO, ontrack etc to no avail

Question, is it possible to recovery data after I formatted and imaged over the disk? Did anyone do this? Or is it just too late. :( :(

Probably too late unless you want to spend many thousands of dollars with a professional recovery service.

try r-tools data recovery

ontrack is an over priced piece of crap.

chances are the data is gone, but r-tools for me read files that had been delete from at atleast 3 formats previous.
