I have a budget of about $200-250. Here are my current choices:

Mag 3
DD RBX or TBX
Evercool 120mm

I haven't decided on the rest. Is what I've decided on thus far good? What would be a good res and radiator to get for my budget?

I'm trying to get my 2600+ Mobile to at least 2.7GHz.

You can pick up a heatercore from an autoparts store for around $20. I'm using an '88 Chevette core right now. But if you want to spend a little more, you can get an equivalant one from dtek or dangerden that already has the right size barbs and a shroud. Look around.

And as far as Reservoirs, you can fashion your own or just order a cheap one...2Fresh sells a pretty decent little one on the FS/FT boards.

I originally posted a $100 by accident. I meant to put $200-$250, so I'm willing to put together a pretty decent setup so I don't have to skimp out on the parts. Right now I have a 92mm Tornado and a SP-97 running at full speed 24/7, so I need a setup that will get me at least 10C less load temps. Right now I'm currently getting like 45C at 1.75v full load.

$100 isn't really going to get you much cooling, probably no better than air.

I didn't say I had $100. I said that originally, but in the above post I corrected myself. I said I would have at least $200, but maybe as much as $300.

don't you love how some people on these forums can't read? Anyways, those choices seem good, other possibilities are an Eheim 1250 (but the Mag3 performs just as well and imho better actually) or a White Water CPU block (I advocate these because a. they are a phenomenol block, b. they are fairly cheap and c. Cathar's jet-impingement tech first used in this block was stolen right out from under his feet by danger den in their production of the RBX block).

Get a heatercore, cheaper and better then a rad, danger den sells em ready to go no soldering required, otherwise just go to an autozone or something.

Make you're own res out of PVC, they are MUCH better then the acrylic crap being sold. It only seems logical that a tube designed for water to flow through would serve as the best container for water and will cost about $6 (I'm still a T-Line nazi though :) ).

If you don't want to skimp ... get tygon tubing.

You edited your post after I had loaded the page. So although my response is after your edit time, I loaded the page before hand and that's why I mentioned the $100.
