Well, I wanted to format my computer, but having nowhere to backup 100 gig worth of stuff, I went out and bought a 300 gig ata133 harddrive.
Formatted it to a NTFS primary partition.
(The drive I wished to format was 2x120 sata drives in raid 0)
I copied everything over to the 300 gig drive.
Shutoff the computer, disconnected the 300 gig drive (didn't want any possibility of accidently formatting it) formatted, and reinstalled windows.
Got all the updates, shutoff computer again, and reconnected the dirve.
It was recognized, but not in 'my computer'
I went to disk managment tools, and it was there as an unrecognized partition. I gave it a drive letter.
It's now appearing in my computer, however, if I try to access it, windows tells me it is not formatted, so I'm unable to access it.
Help me please. What has happened?
