First, hello I'm new here and have been lurking around for quite some time looking at the posts on displays because I wanted to upgrade from my 19" Acer LCD. I just entered college a few months ago so I could finally sign up with my e-mail :p

Anyways what I really want to know is, do I need a VGA converter box to hook up cable/ps2 to an E2400HD?

Also will there be significant input lag if I go with this setup? (ps2 specifically, because I know my LCD TV my mom has lags quite a bit with a ps2 hooked in, however it performs fine with a ps3 in the HDMI slot) Was wondering if an LCD monitor would be the same.

I really have my mind set on this monitor after debating for months on the V2400W/G2400WD. I saw the new line of HD releases and I think this is the one I want to go with.

For PS2 you would need a converter for all three monitors V2400W, G2400WD and E2400HD.
 
If the PS2 games you want to play support 480p, you can run them directly to any vga monitor that supports sync-on-green by wiring up a component cable to a VGA plug. I do this for some games such as Guilty Gear and it works very well - however not every game supports 480p.
