Help a newb out please

recently i purchased another set of ram ocz gold 5-5-5-12. so thats 4 sticks of the same ram and timing. I had my Pc OC'd to 3.1 on air using a E6300 with aftermarket HSF on a Asus P5B-D. I cannot load my O.C. profile with 4 sticks of ram. i can complete a post but thats it, as soon as my OS boots up its shuts off. any idea as to what i need to change in order to be able to load up my profile. Do i need to lower my Timing's or is it a voltage issue. please keep in mind that a friend had walked me through the oc.

Its harder for the memory controller to drive 4 Dimms, one of the issues with using 4 sticks of ram on some boards.

choices are:
Raise memory controller voltage
Raise memory voltage
Slow the memory timings
Slow the ram down via the memory multiplier (dont advise this as as its best to run 1:1)
Slow the FSB down (this will slow the memory and CPU).
