i've read guides upon guides on how to overclock, but i'm still a little lost. i read the one here and i read the memory overclocking guide in the link that is given in the original guide.

i now know how it works, but i cant make it work.

so let me get this straight, i have to increase the fsb or htt (i have an amd) and the memory frequency at the same time.

i dont know how to do that in the bios. i can change the cpu fsb, but i cant change the memory frequency. the highest it goes is 200. i am using a MSI K8N Neo FSR mobo w/ a ClawHammer 3400+.

also, the highest my vdimm goes is 1.85.

i've had my setup for about 3 months, and i really want to start overclocking. now i have a headache from staring at my monitor all last night and all this morning/afternoon.

i'm not like other noobs. i've actually read and searched for everything i need, but sometimes a guy like me needs some help from people. thanx in advance.

my specs (if you need them) are...

AMD Athlon 64 Socket 754 ClawHammer 3400+
MSI K8N NeoFSR
Corsair XMS 1GB(512x2) DDR400
Ultra X-Connect 500W Modular Power Supply
BFG 6800GT OC (dont think you need this)
