help... 20d kit or XT kit + another lense?

ive heard that the XT is pretty close to the 20d in some ways...but what should i get... spend the 1300-1500 for the 20d kit... or get the xt kit + a nice big cf card and another lense

Considering there are many people who would opt for either kit, and many who already have...no one is going to be able to give you a straight answer without you first telling us a little about yourself, intended use of the camera, and photographic backround.

For all we know, you may be best suited buying a 10D and a 50mm f/1.8.

Or we might decide that you need to spend the money on a 1Ds MKII and a bag of L glass.
 
Post a few of the pics you have taken already and we'll let you know if you should get a high-end Canon or a a Helwett Packard webcam... :p :D

I have the XT and a couple of lenses and love the camera if that helps at all.
 
graphic design is my major....

ive taken photography classes and enjoy it a lot i curently have a Canon A80 and Fujifilm finepix s3100 (canon is SOO much better). im not pro... but im def not a beginer...i havent taken many pictures in the last few months and i miss it and would like to get back into it

i pretty much take pictures of everything from plants people cars sport all sorts of stuff... i eventually would like to maybe sell some of my pictures...(i live right near the Kennedy space center so there is alot of tourists that love pictures of the space center and stuff) also being in graphic design (i wanna do advertising as my main goal) so ill be using some of the pictures i take in the stuff i create...

I think you might be better off with the XT. First things first though, go into a local camera shop or best buy and pick it up. It is quiet small...
 
yeah ive played around with it at best buy

all those pics of mine were taken with a normal point and shoot... and there is only so much you can do :D ....im also thinking for the future... for my career (whatever it may be) which would be a better camera....
