Help! 1703Fp vs. 2001FP from Dell!

Lets say I could get dual 1703's for $440 total cost (x2 of the dell homes at 20% off minus the 275 I have from my old monitor) or dual 2001fps for $1003. Ovb, the $440 seems to be the best 'deal' since its less than half of the dual 20.1s, but I wonder what everyone else thinks. 1280x1024x2 or 1600x1200x2... you think its worth 560 more? Hmm...

Just looking for thoughts on the quality of both monitors... and the dual setup.
