Hellgate London DX10 Shader Comparison

[Rich Tate]

The guys over at Voodoo Extreme have some pretty nice screenshots of Hellgate London. Here’s one to get you started.

One of the DirectX 10 games that hasn't gotten much love thus far from the graphics mongers is Hellgate London. Sure, everyone knows about DX10 titles like Crysis, but believe it or not, Hellgate London's visuals really aren't that shabby. In fact, they're quite attractive. While the DX9 and DX10 clients generally look the same, DX10 does offer a few bells and whistles that DX9 does not.

currently on the alpha DX10 runs at ~8fps while DX9 runs 40+ fps with the same settings.

HGL in DX10 does look better, but I'll stick to DX9 as its alot faster.

What's the point of doing an IQ Comparison when you're going to fuck it up with Jpg pixelation Putting that aside, the DX10 performance of the game is pretty horrible. let's hope it's optimized in the retail

Yeh... is it possible to see the same scene on Dx9 and one on Dx10?
