Does anybody have the Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 64 in their HTPC? My case is 140mm and the ACFP 64 is 107mm in height. Is 37mm enough clearance? Is there no way to tell without making the purchase and attempting the install? Thanks for the help!
On the heatsink size, make sure you're getting the size of the whole heatsink (including the base) and not just the height of the finned portion. I read a thread before where someone was going off the wrong height and the heatsink didn't fit.
I actually decided to get the Scythe Ninja Mini. I have a 120mm Antec fan that i will attach to it. Hope it fits, if it doesnt, il be making a post in the fs/ft thread soon
my buddy has it in his HTPC, the Freezer 64 Pro that is.....i think the one advantage over the Ninja Mini is the Freezer 64 Pro allows you to mount it in any four directions, that is, to have the wider heatsink side on any side you need it and the fan blowing the way you need it, where the Ninja Mini is as square as square gets, then you have to add the fan to one side of it unless you plan to run fanless....in which case the Ninja Mini is the better choice as it cools better than the Freezer 64 Pro
