do all socket 478 heatsinks fit on all socket 478 motherboards?

im confused because when i look at them, they are all different sizes. will they all fit in a 478 motherboard, or do i have to find the right size? im running a p4p800-e deluxe will this fit on my board?

hows this? kinda looks to over the top, but it looks like it cools well with the copper

this looks pretty simple and easy to install

these are the only heatsinks with 80mm fans i found on newegg. can anyone suggest a good socket 478 heatsink?

thanks in advance for replies

neither of those links you posted work

the thermalright are pretty much the undisputed king

I however have the coolermaster hyper 6 and like it very much

if its labeled to work with a socket 478 board any heatsink should work, the only issue you may enounter is clearance issues with motherboard capicitors

bow to my heatsink

and soo on..

Thermalright heatsinks rock. I've used them for years and have always been happy with them. You can look up mobo compatibility with specific models on their site... ;)

this is my first time using thermalright and im impress.. 2hrs after i installed it i saw a difference. 53c to 47c cpu temp. system temp went from 35c to 32c. its only been 2hrs so thier should be more difference in the next 5-10hrs

I just got my XP-120 and it's amazing the initial drop in load temps are around 11 C. If you can fit on your board it's the heatsink to get right now.

IMHO the Zalman CPNS 7000A-Cu has to be the best 478 HS out there, if you are not sure if it will fit your mobo check the zalman site out, they have a mobo qualifying list...I don't believe you'll have any problem with your mobo !

Thermaltake and Zalman are the two top HSF companies IMO.
The HSF in my sig is really quiet and gets the job done :p
