Heatsink recommendation

I am pretty much all but decided that I will be getting another heatsink.

My Coolermaster V8 just isn't really impressing me much. So what I'm going to do is get a new heatsink and I am undecided between the two following:

Noctua NH-12UP

TRUE

I see that the Noctua only has 4 heatpipes compared to the TRUE's 6 however the Noctua has two fans, and I know how good of a fan they make. I kind of think the Noctua will be quieter, however I don't know that on good authority. I suppose it is also possible I could always just get a Noctua fan on a TRUE although that would be more money.

I plan on overclocking my CPU up to 3.8 or 4.0 or something like that (whatever I can get stable) when I get another memory kit that'll let me do that (3x2GB of something or other)

Anyone have any advice/input?

go with the TRUE if it will fit in your case.. the noctua is very close in performance and quiet.. so its a catch 22 if you want insane performance or you want really good performance and silence..

+1 for TRUE, i think that if your going to get a really good air cooler go for the best

they are both great. Overall performance is very similar.

I love my Noctua. Very quiet and excellent cooling capability. Easy to mount as well.

I think I may jump on the Noctua. I read a few reviews that say it performs on par with the TRUE. One actually put it as better than the TRUE (at least in the twin-fan LGA1366 form)
