Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Heatpipes are showing up a lot more and some of them are huge. The Thermaltake Sonic Tower is 112X112X150 mm. Thats a good size for a radiator. How do these work and can one make a decent replacement for water cooling?
Heat pipes are nice but not as good as watercooling. I have the Thermalright XP90 and love it but going to install my watercooling setup soon for better overclocking.
If you could find a heatsink that used heatpipes the size of all the tubes in an average watercooling setup, the two might be comparable.
Likewise, a watercooling setup with room for only as much water as the liquid in heatpipes........ would suck.
