heatkiller GPU X2 block

Wonder if this block would fit a 6870. Everywhere I read they say the aftermarket coolers are interchangeable.

Plus i like the $50 instead of $100 for a waterblock.


If anyone has any info plz let me know ASAP. my crossfire is having heating problems.

As long as your card is reference you should be fine

Only fits with reference 6850's. Not 6870's.

The 6850 & 6870 refernce PCBs are nearly identical. He might be able to get away with it.

This is for the gpu-x3, but it shows both the 6850 & 6870. The only difference is the 6870 gets a few extra bits of thermal tape.

i dont wanna buy $200 in waterblocks for a video card.

but it runs hot. so i need some kinda waterblock. I saw the swiftech heatsink with a mcw80/82 waterblock.
