So i just recently put together a shuttle system Specs as follows

Shuttle SN21G5
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Manchester 2000MHz HT Socket 939 Dual Core Processor
Crucial Ballistix 1024gb (2x512 dual channel) pc3200 DDR
XFX GeForce 7900 GT EXTREME 256mb PCI-E Card
and a WD 250gb Sata2 HDD

now im getting some problems, basically i play World of Warcraft and i seem to be getting artifacts in game, then followed by my screen flickering on and off which usually requires a restart to fix. Is this a heating issue? ive checked the temp on my card and its about 64c under load which doesnt seem high to me. Any help would be appreciated lol.

edit: It doesnt happen consistantly but when it happens its annoying. And the power supply is a Shuttle Silent-x 250W.

i think you got a bad 7900. you'll have to wait on XFX's RMA service but i've been hearing its the best option. you could always try returning it to the store.

the temps are normal (i see about the same on my evga 7900GT CO) and yes its disgustingly hot. but they are well within operating specs.

i'm not getting artifacting, but i am however getting game crashes, especially in HL2:episode one (bought it at the store yesterday;)

Try a stronger Power Supply? 250w really doesnt seem quite beefy enough...

good eye ace, didn't notice that one. i'd agree, definately up that PSU. probably at least a good 450W (seasonic, sparkle, enermax, antec, OCZ to name a few). i don't want to say if the card is good or not without it being run with an atequite power supply, but that could be your only problem;) good luck!

i was under the impression that shuttle PSU's were more efficient and were able to handle such cards.
