Ok lately ive been having problems in some games with my BFG 5900 nu. It's ocd to a 475/850 so it's not that high. I want to know why my card gets so hot(60c) and then it starts stuttering.

My fps stay at 100fps in CS for example but it stutters every so often. What can be done to fix this because it's annoying as hell. It doesn't happen when the weather is cool. It's definitely from the temperature because I noticed it happens when the card is hot like that.

Anyone?

Thank you

Check your case air flow. You can do a few things to help, like tidying up the wires, creating better air flow. Get better case fans, or even a better case if your air flow is that bad. Add a side panel fan to blow on the card.

Or just clock down the card some.

I have good airflow in fact, i have an 80mm fan pointing right at it from the side panel. It's from airflow but what are some other ways to keep air moving for this card?

Perhaps you card just cant overclock that well, it happens. Do you have good front to back air flow? Some cases dont have any front vents to let in cooler air. It may even be a driver issue, although not very likely. You could try another driver to see if it makes any difference.

Mine does OC well though. Up to 5950 speeds. I don't put themup that high but Ive tested them and they work.

I have a total of 5 80mm fans in my case. 3 blowing in and 2 blowing out. One that is directly on top of the card if you are looking at the mother board from a birdeyes view.

Hmm...any good coolers for this card?

I don't know if it because I flashed mine, but mine only gets up to 60*C in my Shuttle... so something is definatly wrong there.
