I've finally gotten around to overclocking my AMD 2500+ Barton to 2.2Ghz( the non-mobile, sadly) and have been wondering about what temps I should consider as "ok." Right now, I have the Thermaltake Aquarius II watercooling system cooling my Barton. I have overclocked the FSB to 200, and left the multiplier at the default 11x. The Gigabyte GA-7N400 Pro2 motherboard that I have apparently takes the processor temps on die. At idle, I am running at about 48C and under load I can hit temps of 58C. These seem really high too me. I checked around and found out that the max temp that the 2500+Barton can handle is 85C. The system is Prime 95 stable, however, I am just wondering if these temps are normal on die temps. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
