Hello all,
I have an AMD XP 3200 "Barton" that is being cooled by a Thermaltake volcano 12 fan.
i have 5 case fans (2front, 2back, 1 low on the side) I have silver thermal grease from CompUSA.
my mobo idles around 30C, but the CPU idles at 60-65C and during games like UT2K4 when it loads it jumps up to 75C. I know this is not good, (60-65 is recommended idle temps from AMD)
Leaving the side open does not help, i have round ide cables and I for some reason have never had good times with cooling.
Any suggestions?
