I am probably going, in the next few weeks, for an Asus P5W Deluxe with an E6600.

Two questions are not defined yet: what heatsink and what memory (2Gig) to buy for the combo.

The Scythe Ninja has been recommended, but it's rather big. It's silent though, and I need that.

The major application will be video editing, but I am not sure I will need more memory.

What have you guys been using with good results?

Let's add some more pointers to my question, to make it perhaps more interesting.

Weight, size and noise seems to be a question on most HS for 775 sockets. There seems not to be one model that has it all, so I have started reading a bit more. Specific application on Core 2 Duo is important.

Weight and height are physical specs that force the mobo CPU securing latches and/or force it down in that area. Many of the best are heavy or too tall. Difficult to decide without trying.

Another thing is installing, which seems not to be easy on the Ninja or others. Which way to go?
