Ok so my processor as stated above, is running hot as far as i know. it runs around 70C more or less(under load) and i read on reviews that it comes with a P.O.S. fan and heatsink, and once this processor is bought the person should get a new heatsink and fan. Any of you guys have any recommendations on great reliable heatsink+fan?

(this is what the review said) The first time i installed this processor it ran at 70c under load! After i took off the heat sink i could see the stock thermal paste was CAKED on there.. so bad that the processor wasnt even making total contact with the heat sink, which is a piece of crap.. (no copper at all??)
Once i put some artic silver on there, with a nice heat sink, it runs nice and cool. in fact, i overclocked it to 2.8. ran below 50c.
It handles everything i throw at it.. including bioshock on full settings. even with other programs running.

Im not familar with artic silver or any other "paste" so if you know about them (if they are worth while) can you tell me a great one and how its applied? Thanks guys, your a huge help

AS5 is def worth it, and get a decent cooler, too. That is too hot as is.

There are tons of cooler reviews, just look around a bit.
