Hey people, I need to ask something before I go out and get myself whole set of new computer parts( think it isn't that but hey), and whenever I play games on my beastly system, I keep getting freezing in games, then after a bit, it finally goes back to playing. The problemo is it keeps happenning, and I think it's a heat problem, but I'm not sure. After I forced a shutdown(power button), I felt the insides and it was HOT, the top of my computer was also steaming hot( for a top). Are my game freezes due to heat? Oh yeah I might do that top fan modd tonight at my friend's house

I would say try the fan mod.. if you can get another side fan too that would help... see what happens after that... what are teh specs? what case? are there any fans in that thing at all? give us some more info..

I have an aspire x-sonic case( none of my links would work so no pic)

I have a coolermaster jet 7 cooler, mobile athlon 2500, kingston valuram 512 ddr333, bfg geforce fx5900 x/ zalman heatpipe cooler and tornado on it. A thermaltake butterfly trupower 480 psu.
That's the main parts in it

Oh yeah I have a front 80mm fan, the dide fan I put an xblower fan ther, and have a vantec spectrum 80mm fan for the back
