Nah, theres more money in pills, I could sell one 20MG Oxycotin for 15-20$ no problem, and the Methadone for more. This is hypothetically speaking of course ;) :D

I'm glad that's hypothetical, because discussing such illegal activities is against the rules here...

bigr - I don't think you're in any danger, but I know the feeling you get seeing temps like that, it kind of makes your stomach fall :D I would have asked for a new pair of boxers rather than heart meds...

Thats nothing I have been running my Athlon 64 3400+ at max temp under full load at 70C and believe it or not it has never crashed. Didnt know that was max until yesterday and now have an XP-90 heading my way as of tomorrow.

Funny thing is Ive been running at the 70c temp at load for a good 6 months and havent experienced a problem. I though max temp was more in the 85c range so I didnt worry about it until I went to AMD's site and saw 70c is max temp.

bad temp probe?

most boards will shutoff after the limit is reached

Well,
I have thought that the MB temp probe could be off, I guess I will find out tomorrow when I put my XP-90 heatsink and fan in there. I also took into account it is a very cheap heatsink and fan that came with the system when I bought it. Didnt have a choice. I thought these CPU's would shut down once they hit max as well, At worst I think I am within the range where it may not.

Yea its going, Although I do admit it is not that powerful of airflow coming off of it. I will see tomorrow if its a bad probe or just a plain out cheap Heatsink and fan that is causing these temps. I will post back tomorrow with my results.
