Well, I've been blessed in that I've never had a hard drive lose all my data so this is new to me. I was using my 250gb ATA Maxtor last night no problems. This morning, I go to explore the drive (it is my mulitmedia drive) and it wants to be formatted. It's not making death clicky noises, or anything else that I can hear. Windows Disk manager is reporting that is healthy but 100% free space. What could have caused it? Any advice is appreciated. :(

Edit: I wonder if my system memory is going, Firefox has been crashing a lot lately.

I'm using some data recovery software and everything appears to be there. The transfer time is really slow but atleast its working. Do you guys think I should RMA it?
