Headset without headphone?

I have a pair of MDR-V6s that I would like to use with some sort of headset type microphone. All the ones I see have some sort of headphone/earphone built into it. Are there any 'plain' ones?

emm, battlefield 2 :)
 
yeah, not the ones that sit on your desk, but of a headset type, not a lapel pin type mic.
 
Just buy a cheap headset, and hang it around ur neck when u play. That's what I do with my Senn 280s, and Plantronics Audio90s.
 
I don't think I've seen any, but I use my Allesandro MS1's for headphones and put a headphone/microphone set around my neck, angling the mic up towards my mouth...works fine.
 
I've done every option, and I have V6's as well. Here's what I've tried...

1) Taking cheap headset, breaking head part off and taping the mic boom onto the V6 headphones

2) Taking a small clip on mic, and taping it to the side of the headphones (picks up voice surprisingly well)

3) Wrap a mic around your neck, and let it dangle

4) Just sit the mic on your desk somewhere. You wouldn't think so, but this is just as clear and works great. It's my new method since I have one less wire to deal with. Just sitting on a shelf near my monitor.
