Hey guys, I'm just looking for a headset/headphones for mainly gaming, usually for night time. I would prefer a mic but if not it's fine, since I'm using my webcam's mic right now. The three that I've been looking at so far are the SteelSeries Siberia, 5hV2 and Audio Technica ATH-M30. I don't really want to go over $80 or so (give or take) on a headset, so any suggestions in that range would be appreciated.

If it means anything, games I play intensively for now are LoL, CS:GO, Persona 4 Arena.

Pair of Samson SR850 + an Antlion ModMic is a better value than any of those IMO, even tho the mic is a bit overpriced for what it is (it's well made and cleverly designed tho). If you want something closed that isolates you more from ambient noise you could opt for the JVC HA-RX700, but the Samson will give you better positional cues for online gaming. OTOH the RX700 are more comfortable before any mods, and have more bass.
 
It doesn't look like he needs many directional cues only for CS would you need them and its not like the 700's are that far off. It really boils down to what the OP prefers either are good.

I have been very happy with this setup. The Samsons are very comfortable as long as you don't have large ears or mind vinyl (pleather) pads. The modmics are a really ingenious add-on and very simple to use with good if a little weak response. Note that with this etup there are no inline controls for either the headphones or the mic.
