First off, yes, I read the most recent thread about this kinda thing, but I had some specifics that I wanted to ask about (and sorry if I'm coming off a bit rude, I'm just used to "forum nazis" on other boards, so felt I should clarify).
I'm looking for a good pair of stereo headsets with microphone for under $70. Gaming quality needed, music is secondary (have speakers for listening to music). No USB. I much prefer closed-ear with large ear-cups that rest around rather than on the ear. However, any recommendation is more than welcome.
I've looked at http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=26-106-346&depa=1 and, though they look nice, I don't think the ear-cups fit totally around the ear... that's not a necessity, but it's definitely a preference. Unfortunately, there's not a lot else at Newegg that fits the bill, which saddens me because I shop there for computer equipment almost exclusively.
So do any of you have, have had, or drool over a certain brand or model? I'd appreciate the input.
