Headset/Mic question

Looking for suggestions on a good mic to use when in party. Not interested in headphones, as I'm running 7.2 and like to enjoy my system. Problem is EVERY mic I've bought, from lapel pin to overskull frames.. they suck or simply wont work with PC. I don't need any of the headsets that spout multi-channel, or whatever.. I just need a decent mic with a good light frame and good isolation so i don't have to keep flipping it up when I'm not active, or fumbling with the kill switch so everybody doesn't hear me breathing while we play. I've got a nice little USB Logitech, but its headphones too and I just want a good mic.

Thanks.

Antlion Modmic has been good for me. It is meant to be attached to a headset, but could be attached to anything really. Another favorite of gamers (and streamers) is the blue yeti.

Trying to find something USB based thats similar to the Pyle PLM31. So far everything is wither line in jack or wireless radio style with pack. Not looking for Studio quality with pop eliminators and all... just a simple wire frame headset and noise cancelling mic with exceptional pick-up. I've got a couple nice Studio mics, but when I use the line in for them I got an odd soft hum from my subs... but using USB seems to be issue free. That Blue Yeti does look pretty sweet though.
