Hey guys.
I got a Logitech Extreme Gaming Headset (headphones and mic) for christmas and it worked fine when I first got it. I had it plugged in the front of my tower (using the front mic and front speaker jacks)...The headset is one cable with two ends (mic and headphone end).
It was working pretty dandy at first. But since updating my SigmaTel audio drivers (onboard sound with my motherboard, specs in sig) and installing the Intel Audio Studio, my front mic does not work AT ALL. I can only use it if it is plugged in the rear mic jack (which is not an option).
Intel Audio Studio settings does not help.
SigmaTel settings does not help.
Windows Sound Mixer settings does not help.
I have no idea what to do, I tried rolling back my sigmatel audio drivers but that didn't help.
In my sigmatel driver program thingy it is not recognized that I have the headphones and mic plugged into the front jacks on my pc, although the headphone part does work fine.
Anyone have any idea of what I can do?
