Holy freakin' Toledo. I went ahead and enabled the adaptive aa on my x800xt pe and I just gotta say Ut2k4 has never felt smoother or looked as nice. The game really feels fluid, I have the flip queue size to 0 or 1, I can't recall, and 4aa/16af, 1280x1024. For all of you who are hesitating, give it whirl.

Sorry for the dumb question and since this is in tha ATI section I know it's real dumb but I want to know for shure.
So here go's...Is Adaptive AA only on ATI video card's and not Nvidia ?

Nvidia dubbed it Transparent AA (TAA).

Sorry, I didn't see that thread, bit this was also a "hey it worked for me." kinda thread as well. Did you us the Regkey.exe or did you manually input the registry modification?

what versions of catalyst suport this?

5.9, as far as I can tell. Didn't try it when I had 5.7

There's a thread about his not even half the page down.

Well, supposedly it's only supported in 5.9 cats. I tried it and it worked. Looks pretty damn good too.
I manually put the key in but I put it in wrong, restarted and it fixed itself. All I had to do was restart again but change one of the commands to 0 and it appeared. Pretty neat little trick.
