If all you have is $30 its probably best to stick with koss. Sennheiser doesn't make a good set until you spend $50.
Though, I would highly recommend spending $50 for some Senns (HD477 at the lowest, preferably HD497). Then again it might not make a difference if you have a crappy sound card.

The reason I don't want to pay more than 30$ is because I don't listen to music all that much, I just use headphones for CS. In the rare occasion that I do listen to music, price is more of a factor than quality. I looked at the sennheiser PC 150 and the HD 202. Are they any reputable?

For cans in that price range, the Koss products ... particularly the KSC35's are hard to beat.
As for your source..... I would be inclined to suggest an upgrade before you buy these or any cans. The hissing and poor sound quality will drive you nuts.

I would, if money was available. I just spit out 800$ for a new system, so i'm pretty short of money right now.
EDIT: Oh, and I probably couldn't tell a major difference in sound quality to save my life. I can't notice any difference between wav and mp3 when they have the same hz and res.
