For some reason whenever I put in headphones to my sound card (Audigy ES) I only get sound out of the right ear. Games, music, anything. I reinstalled drivers but I got nothing.

Odd thing is, is that when I plug in speakers it works fine. Any suggestions?

You're probably plugging them into the wrong channel...try a few more and I bet you'll get it:)

u can change the settings in windows so it goes back to headphones too i think. i know you can with the SBL 5.1s. Its under start > programs > creative > then something in there i forgot

Yes, test it with another source. It seems like the problem is in the headphones though.

Your headphone plug is either too wide and interferes with the other connectors or it applying too much downward pressure and breaking a connection.

Go to Radio Shack and buy a $3.99 1/8" stereo extension cable. That will probably take care of the problem since it would seem that your headphone cable is too short and you are applying too much pressure. When playing FPS games you want a lot of slack... When you get scared your head snaps back and pulls on the headphone connector.
