Hey guys just got a question about headphone portable amps that run on batteries. How many batteries does a typical amp use and how long does the batteries last. Thanks!
Depends on the amplifier and its configuration, but normally, 1 or 2 9v batteries for a full day's worth. Definately worth getting rechargeable batteries. I run a cycle of 6 9v 150mAh batteries for my amp and I am constantly recharging.
yeah I use plainview 9v rechargables in my sr-71 and it will last me for about a days worth of listening so I just have 2 in the amp and 2 in the charger and swap em out daily.
