Ok, I am running Vista 32-bit with my sig-rig. Its hooked up to a Samsung HDTV @ 1360x768 with a VGA cable. Everything works fine if I shutdown the computer or restart it, etc. However there is an issue with sleep-mode (maybe having to do with power-management). It caused my HDTV to lose the signal and I have to hard-reset my system to get back. How do I get the signal back?
This is how it happens: When waking from sleep mode, I can move the mouse or hit a key and both the PC and the HDTV will come back. At this point I can put in my password and everything is good to go. However, if I leave it on the login screen after a few minutes the screen will go black, never to return. The mouse, keyboard, control-alt-delete, nothing brings it back. This only happens when returning from sleep-mode. If I turn my PC on fresh and leave it at the login screen it will just go to the default MS screensaver. Is there a fix for this?
